TU Scholarship: Thanks for your support!!!

This post comes with much love and appreciation to everyone who donated money or purchased one of my art prints in support of my Tuskegee University scholarship goal of $500. I didn’t make the goal mainly due to my late insight of the vision, however I was able to present a lucky student who also happens to be from Huntsville (photo above) a $300 scholarship on July 11th, 2007. After discussing the idea with the computer science faculty we decide to present it in the form of a book voucher scholarship. The young lady was very excited and thankful… so once again I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you for making my vision of creating and selling my photography-art for a cause, a reality. I intend to make it an annual scholarship and make my goal for next year so thanks in advance for your continuous support and if you didn’t get a chance to purchase a print, free to contact me or make your purchase online: click here.

God bless!

Art for Scholarship: Lifting Others Up!

If you could spare a few dollars, would like to help out a worthy cause, and purchase a really nice inspirational print... please continue reading:

1. Please check out the Booker T. Washington prints on my Online Art Gallery Store: http://nhsfinearts.boundlessgallery.com/description/p/76531.html

This Print is available in 8x10 sizes for $15 and 11x14 sizes for $20.

2. Proceeds from this print will go towards my goal of a $500 tuition scholarship for a student in the Computer Science PREFICS Program. The student will be chosen by the program staff. I was asked by the CS Department to speak to the students about my experience at Tuskegee University and in the corporate world on July 11th, 2007. At that time I will present the scholarship. I'll be sure to send out photos of the presentation with special thanks to all who contribute.

3. The print is a real beauty and the quote from Booker T. Washington is profound: "A, race like and individual, lifts itself up by lifting others up." It reminds us that we are blessed when we bless others... and that is my goal through the sale of this print.

If you would like to help the cause, please purchase your print today! Also if you see another print on the site that you like feel free to support. Thanks in advance for your support. Please forward this page to everyone, especially Tuskegee University alumni.

Thanks and make it a blessed day!
